Commissioner Lundberg thought it would be good to think on this and make a
decision in June.
Commissioner Parker inquired if it would be possible to have access to the
information about soil correction for the next meeting. He stated it may be
possible to excavate only part of it and put poles into a sand base to stabilize it.
Chair Frischman suggested waiting until the June meeting when everyone had
an opportunity to think about what was presented. If that would be an option that
we would like to recommend to City Council then we would gather that
information.
Breuer stated she was comfortable with going back to see if we can find that
information. If we have it, we can share the cost.
Chair Frischman stated there is the Blaze Soccer Association that we did not
hear from tonight.
Recreation Supervisor Pat Tuma stated she has a contact for them. Comments
she has heard in the past is that they would like to use Driftwood, but right now it
is not in the shape they would need to use it. She will get comments from them.
Chair Frischman stated she would table this item until the June meeting, when
we will make a recommendation to Council about what we would like to see in
the New Brighton Exchange North Park. As well as any changes to other parks
as a result of this.
V. Correspondence
None
VI. Old Business
None
VII. New Business
None
VIII.
