B. Chair Updates <br />Chair Frischman mentioned there are vacancies on this Commission and <br />encouraged residents to apply. <br />C. Commission Reports on Parks <br />None <br />D. Department Happenings / upcoming events <br />Director Breuer mentioned that you can sign up for the a -list for Parks and <br />Recreation, Public Safety and New Brighton Exchange /Community <br />Development on the City's web page. <br />An update was shared on the various happenings. <br />This month marks the 10 year anniversary of Chair Frischman serving on <br />this Commission. She has been on this Commission since 2004. <br />Chair Frischman made the Commission aware that at the City employee <br />recognition breakfast this year, the Michael J. Walker Spirit Award was <br />given to Nay Somkhan, Lead Custodian, at the New Brighton Community <br />Center. <br />Chair Frischman stated that the chair election is coming up in April. <br />Director Breuer stated that next month Jason Hicks will be present and will <br />discuss updates made to the NBCC Policy.
