Consider Resolution Ordering and Authorizing the Preparation of Plans and <br />Specifications for Proposed Improvement Project 15-1, 2015 Street Rehabilitation. <br />Report No. 14-310. <br /> <br />City Manager Lotter indicated Community Assets and Development Director Schlichting would be <br />presenting this item to the Council. <br />Community Assets and Development Director Schlichting explained the Council adopted a Comprehensive <br />Street Plan in 1982 creating a means by which to improve and maintain high quality streets and alleys within <br />the City. The streets considered for rehabilitation in 2015 were identified by City staff as needing replacement <br />in 2016 based on their age and pavement condition. With the 10th Street Bridge being removed and replaced <br />over I-35W in 2015, staff has adjusted its capital improvement plan to align projects in this area to take <br />3.
