Consider Resolution to enter into a Grant Agreement with the Minnesota Department of Public <br />Safety for DWI Officer. <br />Councilmember Bauman stated she had this item pulled from the Consent Agenda as she wanted to hear <br />additional information from staff. <br />Deputy Public Safety Director Tony Paetznick discussed the DWI Officer funding that the City received from <br />the Minnesota Department of Public Safety. He commented the City was awarded $185,000 to purchase a <br />new squad car and provide the salary for a DWI officer.
