Seasonal and part-time employees may be eligible to receive up to 20% off all membership rates <br />through the New Brighton Community Center. <br />No discounts are ,given on promotional passes or membership specials. <br />5.3 Memberships Available <br />Benefitted Employees: The memberships available to any benefitted employee, including full- <br />time, regular part-time, paid -on-call firefighters and elected officials are annual memberships <br />that will be activated upon an enrollment form being completed and signed by the employee's <br />Department Director. Memberships that are available are as follows: <br />Adult (single) <br />Family (up to 6 persons in the family, after this an additional $10 is charged per child) <br />Adult (single) Health Wave <br />Family Health Wave (up to 6 persons in the family, after this an additional $10 is charged per <br />child <br />The Adult and Family memberships ,grant access to the New Brighton Community Center <br />Fitness Center (NBCC), including an indoor walking/running track, cardiovascular equipment <br />and more than 60 pieces of selectrolized strength training equipment, as well as the Gymnasium. <br />If it is a family membership, youth ages 12 and under are welcome to utilize the Eagles Nest <br />Indoor Playground while supervised. <br />The Adult Health Wave and Family Health Wave memberships include access to the Fitness <br />Center and Gymnasium, as well as to the Eagles Nest Indoor Playground, select group fitness <br />classes and open and lap swim at Highview Middle School Pool (limited hours available). <br />Seasonal/Part-Time Employees: Seasonal or part-time employees may choose any membership <br />category and receive a 20% discount, including annual or monthly payment options. If the <br />monthly payment option is chosen, the employee must stay an active member for 90 days. After <br />this, the membership will reoccur until a cancellation notice is acquired. <br />The City employee must always be included in a Membership category because the discount is <br />based on the employee. For example, if an employee has a child they want to enroll in a Youth <br />Membership, they would only be eligible to enroll in a Family or Dual Membership. (,The Dual <br />Membership option is only available to Seasonal/Part-Time Employees). <br />Please Note for Any Membership Option: For children between the ages of 12 and 17, a youth <br />fitness orientation must be completed prior to using the fitness center. This orientation is not <br />covered under the City benefit and the cost will be incurred by the employ <br />5.4 Membership Enrollment <br />
