  <br />3 <br />483433v3 NE136-8 <br /> <br /> <br />1.11 Multi-Family Dwellings (MFD) <br /> <br />Any building used for residential purposes consisting of three or more residential units <br />with individual kitchen facilities for each. Five (5) MFD buildings (of four units or less) <br />are included as part of the City’s residential recycling program and this Agreement. Per <br />the City Code, all residents must have access to recycling, including those living in multi- <br />family complexes. <br /> <br />1.12 Non-Targeted Materials <br /> <br />Non-recyclable materials that are not included in the City’s recycling program. <br />Examples of typical non-targeted items include (but are not limited to): pumps on plastic <br />bottles, ceramic material in glass streams, frozen pizza boxes, plastic tubs, etc. <br /> <br />1.13 Old Boxboard (OBB) <br /> <br />Boxes including cereal, cake, chip, and cracker boxes. Does not include boxboard <br />containers used for refrigerator or freezer food product storage. <br /> <br />1.14 Old Corrugated Cardboard (OCC) <br /> <br />Cardboard material with double wall construction and corrugated separation between <br />walls. Does not include plastic, wax or other coated cardboard. <br /> <br />1.15 Old Magazines (OMG) <br /> <br />Glossy and non-glossy magazines and catalogs. <br /> <br />1.16 Old Newspapers (ONP) and Inserts <br /> <br />Newspapers including inserts. <br /> <br />1.17 Plastic Bottles <br /> <br />Plastic bottles shaped with a neck. Plastic lids, caps, rings and pumps are not included. <br />Recyclable plastic bottles shall be identified on the bottom with the Society of the <br />Plastics Industry (SPI) plastic codes #1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 including bottles containing: <br />liquor, milk, juice, soft drinks, water, certain foods, soap and cosmetics. <br /> <br />1.18 Process Residuals <br /> <br />The normal amount of material that cannot be economically recycled due to material <br />characteristics such as size, shape, color, cross-material contamination, etc. and must be <br />disposed as mixed municipal solid waste.
