3 <br />On May 21st at approximately 12:15am Officers from the Roseville Police Department <br />requested assistance from any Crisis Intervention Trained Officers in the County for a <br />barricaded suicidal female armed with a knife. Officer Wakasugi who has completed the <br />training responded to the location and was able to successfully de-escalate the situation <br />and the female came exited and was transported to get mental health assistance. <br />16006666 <br /> <br />On May 25th at approximately 6:09pm Officer Nerison and Officer Riedel were <br />dispatched to 1300 Northwest Parkway #102 for a report of a domestic. Upon arrival <br />officers could hear a female yelling for help inside the apartment and the occupants <br />refused to answer the door. After locating forcible entry tools the occupants eventually <br />opened the door. During the course of the investigation Officers determined the husband <br />of the victim, Matthew Jerry Bray (04/23/1988), had assaulted his wife of two months. <br />The victim was bleeding from her nose and face, had difficulty speaking, and had <br />multiple injuries including a fractured rib and damage to her teeth. Bray was taken in to <br />custody and booked at the Ramsey County Law Enforcement Center for domestic assault. <br />16006845 <br /> <br />On May 6th at approximately 12:23am units were dispatched to the northern part of the <br />City for a report of smoke in the area. Crews promptly determined the smoke was <br />actually from the northern Minnesota wildfires. While investigating the area Captain <br />Schute located a vehicle fire which crews promptly extinguished. The vehicle owner was <br />amazed fire units responded to the car fire before she even called 911 <br /> <br />On Friday, May 27th Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1200 block of 7th <br />Street NW for a report of a juvenile male with a warrant. The juvenile male had a history <br />of fleeing police. Officers responded to the location and determined the male was no <br />longer there. Officer Krebsbach checked the area around Pike Lake School, as that is <br />where the male was located last time. Officer Krebsbach located the suspect who <br />immediately fled on foot. A perimeter was established and Officer Krebsbach and <br />Sergeant Moore located the male hiding behind a garbage can in the Brighton Square <br />townhomes. The male began to be compliant but then began to attempt to physically <br />resist the officers. Fire Captain/Parks Maintenance Employee Mike Schute also observed <br />the suspect fighting with officers and immediately ran over to assist. The suspect was <br />eventually taken in to custody and during the process of detaining him he assaulted <br />Officer Krebsbach by biting him. The male was subsequently transported to the Ramsey <br />County Juvenile Detention Center and booked on the outstanding warrant and for Felony <br />4th Degree Assault. Several neighbors who witnessed the event remarked on the restraint <br />officers used while taking the suspect in to custody. 16006921 <br /> <br />On Sunday May 15th at approximately 12:45pm while on the scene of an apartment fire <br />Officer Krebsbach was approached by a male, later identified as Ryan Alan Peterson 04- <br />24-1992, who stated he was involved in a domestic with his girlfriend. Officer <br />Krebsbach , Sgt. Singer, and Officer DeBoer began to speak with the male along with the <br />female resident. During the subsequent investigation officers determined Peterson had <br />been in a physical altercation with his girlfriend and when she attempted to call 911 he <br />took the phone from her and fled from the apartment. Peterson was arrested for Gross <br />Misdemeanor Interfering with Emergency Communications and booked at the Ramsey <br />County Law Enforcement Center. 16006301
