12 <br />On Monday September 26th and Tuesday September 27th the Fire Division conducted its <br />annual physical agility testing. All firefighters are required to complete the testing which <br />involves dragging 100’ of charged hoseline, advancing 100’ of supply hose, fan carry, <br />165lb dummy drag, climbing the aerial ladder, carrying an apartment bundle three up <br />three stories, a 25lb weight lift on a rope, and carrying the apartment bundle down three <br />stories. <br /> <br />X. OTHER ADMINISTRATIVE <br /> <br /> This section will review the ongoing administrative issues and meetings during the <br />month. This includes meetings, policy issues, ordinance changes, and personnel issues. <br />And, this also includes meetings of a county wide, regional, and/or statewide basis on <br />public safety related issues. <br /> <br />Effective October 1st, New Brighton will join all other suburban law enforcement <br />agencies on the Ramsey County Emergency Communications Center (CAD) Computer <br />Aided Dispatch (CAD) platform in collecting enhanced demographic and police actions <br />taken during traffic stop or field inquiry of a suspicious person. When clearing such a <br />citizen contact, Police Officers will be required to notify the dispatcher or enter <br />electronically on their mobile laptop information pertaining to the sex and race of the <br />driver, and whether the individual and/or vehicle were searched.
