playground are large so a child could not become trapped and choke
themselves. A second example is that any protrusion on the p layground is large
enough to not cause serious damage to a child’s eye.

Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act was signed into law in 2008. It is
targeted towards products geared for children ages 12 and under. The Act helps
to ensure the materials used include safe substances and the size is not small
enough to be a choking hazard.
Flammability of the structure is measured by two different standards,
Underwriters Laboratories and the National Fire Protection Association. These
organizations test how long it will take material to ignite and whether the material
will extinguish or spread a flame if it were to catch fire.

Similar applications of Cheer Amusement products

Staff has researched three additional Cheer Amusement supplied playgrounds.
All three have shared positive information about Cheer. Staff was encouraged
not only by the positive responses to questions, but also the depth of the
conversations that was had with each of the contacts.

Urban Air Trampoline Park

http://www.urbanairtrampolinepark.com/

Urban Air is a franchised amusement facility. There currently are 35 locations
open for business, and additional 24 in the development process. The closest
location is Coon Rapids which is scheduled to open the summer of 2017. The
first Urban Air location opened in 2011.

Cheer Amusement completely outfits each location. This includes soft play areas
similar to the Eagles Nest, trampolines, and zip lines and ropes courses. The
cost of installation for each location varies between $1.2-$1.5 million. They see
between 100,000-175,000 visitors to each location each year.

Urban Air has indicated they enjoy working with Cheer. They are the largest
manufacturer in the world, and are willing to listen to the
changes/recommendations from the end users. Their turnaround time is fast
when replacement parts are needed. Similar to the Eagles Nest, kids are hard
on the equipment, but durability has not been a concern. Urban Air shared they
have not found similar components wear out at each location.

Hide ‘n’ Seek Playground

http://www.hidenseekplayground.ca
