5 <br />On July 30th, the fire department was dispatched on a residential house fire in the 1000 <br />block of Thorndale Avenue. An attached garage was smoking and on fire. All the <br />residents were evacuated and found to be okay. The Fire Department extinguished the <br />fire. At this time, the fire appears to be accidentally set. <br /> <br /> <br />On July 30th, squads observe a vehicle in Long Lake Park after hours. Upon making <br />contact with the occupants, a strong smell of marijuana is noticed. An 18 year old <br />Fridley resident is found to have a felony level of marijuana. He is arrested and booked <br />for the Controlled Substance violation and his vehicle was forfeited. <br /> <br />II.
