8 <br />On July 21st, Officer Kostohryz was dispatched to a report of a male slumped over the <br />steering wheel of a running vehicle. Upon arrival, the vehicle was off the road, running, <br />and in drive. The driver was determined to be under the influence of Methamphetamine. <br />The driver was also found to be in Possession of Methamphetamine. The driver was <br />transported to hospital for evaluation. A search warrant was obtained for blood sample. <br />A blood sample was obtained and the driver was booked at Ramsey County LEC for <br />Gross Misdemeanor Possession of Controlled Substance. Additional Charges to include <br />4th Degree DWI, <br /> <br />On July 22nd, Officers conducted Traffic Enforcement of the Pedestrian crossing in the <br />300 block of 10th St and the 700 block of Old Highway 8 NW; 16 traffic stops were <br />conducted and approximately 20 citizens spoken to in passing. <br /> <br />On July 23rd, squads were dispatched to a report of a 28 year old St. Paul resident who <br />crashed her vehicle deep into a wooded area west of Old Hwy 8. The driver showed <br />signs of impairment and Officer Craig arrested her for 3rd Degree DWI. She tested at a <br />BAC of .19. She was booked at LEC. <br /> <br />On July 26th, Officer Amberg stops a vehicle for speeding. The driver, a 31 year old <br />Fridley resident, shows signs of impairment and fails field sobriety tests. At the police <br />department, the driver blows a .12 on the DMT. The party is booked for 4th degree DWI. <br /> <br />IV.
