7 <br /> <br />On August 22, Officer Farmer stops a vehicle for a window tint violation. The driver, a <br />58 year old Andover man, denies drinking anything. He agrees to but fails field sobriety <br />tests. He is arrested for DWI and later takes a breath test which reveals a BAC of .09. <br />He was booked at the Ramsey County jail for a 4th degree DWI. <br /> <br />On August 24, Officer Kostohryz stops a vehicle for an equipment violation. The driver, <br />a 26 year old male from Columbia Heights, shows signs of impairment and admits to <br />recent use of methamphetamine. He fails field sobriety tests and is arrested. A search <br />warrant is written up and Officer Kostohryz is ample to obtain a blood sample. The party <br />is booked for a 4th degree DWI. <br /> <br />On August 26, Officer Nordhus stopped a vehicle for a moving violation. The driver, a 29 <br />year old female from Blaine, showed signs of impairment. She failed field sobriety tests <br />and was arrested. At the PD, she was administered a breath test which revealed a BAC of <br />.08. She was booked at the jail for a 4th degree DWI. <br /> <br />On August 29, squads responded on a party who had been honking the car’s horn. He <br />was reported to have been driving and was now stumbling/walking around the vehicle. <br />The caller believed the party was intoxicated. Officers arrived on scene and located the <br />obviously intoxicated driver. They also found marijuana and psychedelic mushrooms. <br />The party, a 28 year old Minneapolis man, was arrested/booked for the Drug Possession <br />and for 3rd Degree DWI. <br /> <br />On August 30, squads responded to an emergency call where a vehicle fails to yield. <br />DWI Officer Farmer is able to locate the vehicle. The driver showed signs of <br />intoxication via the use of stimulants. Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia are <br />located in the vehicle. The driver has previous DWI convictions and is arrested for 1st <br />Degree DWI and Possession of Methamphetamine. He was booked at the Ramsey <br />County jail and his vehicle was held for forfeiture. <br /> <br />IV.
