task 6 - engagement Phase 2 – Consult and <br />Collaborate <br />once we have completed tasks 4 and 5, phase 2 of the community engagement <br />process will commence. at this point in the process, we will have completed a <br />critical review of the vision and guiding principles, prepared technical analysis, <br />explored changes in land use, identified change areas, and established key action <br />steps/strategies. the objective of phase 2 is to present potential changes to the <br />comprehensive plan based on phase 1 input and technical analysis conducted by <br />the consulting team with assistance from city staff. <br />key steps in this process will follow the stakeholder engagement plan outlined in <br />task 1. in general key sub-tasks will include: <br />TASK 6.1 <br />Update project web site <br />Web site or online presence update will include schedule, communication, and <br />survey data (for review of the plan) <br />TASK 6.2 <br />Prepare project update materials <br />summary materials produced in written form for inclusion in newsletters, email <br />blasts or media releases <br />TASK 6.3 <br />Design in-person meeting process and materials <br />meeting processes and materials will most likely take the form of open house or <br />presentation board format <br />TASK 6.4 <br />facilitate meeting and online materials <br />Facilitate and coordinate meetings and integrate materials into online presence <br />TASK 6.5 <br />Summarize and distribute meeting outcomes / results <br />TASK 6.6 <br />Project Management and Coordination <br />task 7 - assemble the final Plan and seek <br />approvals (engagement Phase 3) <br />the hkGi team will refine the plan based on the Community and Commission input <br />and staff review to create a complete final draft of the new brighton Comprehensive <br />plan. at a minimum, the revised comprehensive plan will include updates to the <br />existing chapters of the plan. other optional required elements will not form a new <br />chapter, but will be thread through existing chapters. having completed the final <br />draft of the Comprehensive plan, hkGi will facilitate phase 3 of the community <br />engagement plan and facilitate a formal review and approval process with the <br />planning Commission and the City Council. subtasks include: <br />Deliverables <br /> »engagement/presentation <br />materials <br /> »Facilitation of meetings <br /> »summary report of outcomes <br />(powerpoint slides and report <br />in plan report template to <br />be appended to community <br />engagement plan) <br />tasK 6 sUmmary <br />Understanding + aPProaCh <br />City of New BrightoN, MiNNesota 20
