<br />Mr. Mueller stated he would be happy to assist the EDC members with touring the TUV SUD site if <br />there was interest. <br /> <br />Housing Discussion <br />Gundlach provided the EDC with an update on housing and the City’s housing stock. It was noted the <br />City’s single family housing was maintaining its value while its multi-family and duplexes were losing <br />value. She explained she would be providing the EDC with additional information on housing at the <br />April meeting. <br /> <br />Chair Zisla looked forward to digging into this issue deeper in the coming months. <br /> <br />Commissioner Allen understood the Met Council was encouraging the City to have another 165 <br />affordable housing units. He believed the City needed additional housing options for low-income <br />individuals in order to meet the needs of all residents. Gundlach understood the community needed to <br />plan for affordable housing for the future. She explained this issue would work nicely into the City’s <br />Comprehensive Plan updating process.
