When officers grabbed his <br />arms, he tried pulling away. He had to be pushed onto the couch and was placed in <br />handcuffs. He was brought to the waiting ambulance where he was strapped down. He <br />was transported to Regions. <br /> <br />On December 11, an unknown party sets a garbage can on fire in the boys bathroom at <br />Highview Middle School. SRO Boyd is following up on the case. <br /> <br />On December 12, New Brighton squads assisted Minneapolis PD with taking into <br />custody an uncooperative, 14 year old, female runaway who was believed to be being <br />used involved in sex trafficking. <br /> <br />On December 17, a good Samaritan locates an elderly male, not dressed for the outdoors, <br />in Mounds View. The good Samaritan transported him to New Brighton PD. It is <br />determined that the non-English speaking male was from an address in Mounds View. <br />He was transported home and a MVPD Officer took custody of the male. <br /> <br />On December 19, New Brighton squads were dispatched on a witnessed cardiac arrest. <br />Officers Craig and Amberg start CPR and hook up the patient to an AED. The AED <br />advised to administer one shock. Allina arrived on scene and helped achieve a pulse. The <br />party is transported to the hospital. Sgt. Sypniewski assists medics in the ambulance <br />where male begins to breathe without assistance. <br /> <br />On December 20, squads take a report from a party who advised he was to meet two <br />female parties to sell his cell phone. The arrangement was made thru the app called “Let <br />Go.” Instead of two females arriving he is met by two black males who attempted to take <br />his phone. The victim tackled male who had his phone and got it back. Both of the male <br />suspects fled the area. <br /> <br />On December 20, squads responded on a reported robbery. The victims stated two male <br />suspects jumped them and stole $400 dollars in cash, liquor, and cigarettes. The suspects <br />were gone on arrival. The Language Line was utilized due to victims speaking limited <br />English. The victims gave a very vague account, stating that they had taken a taxi there to <br />visit a woman they only know as "Blondie." The investigation continues. <br /> <br />On December 21, squads responded on a domestic between a boyfriend and his <br />girlfriend. The girlfriend reported that the boyfriend was not letting her leave with their <br />child after an argument. The Officers spoke with both parties and the boyfriend became <br />aggressive and confrontational. The boyfriend tried to forcefully push through officers <br />attempting to prevent the girlfriend from leaving with their daughter. The boyfriend <br />resisted officers leading to struggle and the boyfriend being tased. The boyfriend was <br />arrested and booked for GM Obstruction of Legal Process. <br /> <br />On December 22, a female reported to police that she grabbed the wrong bag when she <br />gets off a Greyhound bus. When she got home, she found a loaded pistol in the bag. The <br />gun comes back clear and officers were able to establish the owner of the bag. The <br />officer who took the report is attempting to reunite the bag with owner. Gun held for <br />possible charges.
