MVPD officer arrested a <br />driver for possession of marijuana for a felony level amount. SPPD officer arrested a <br />driver for 3rd Degree DWI and a loaded firearm was recovered from the vehicle. <br /> <br />Thirteen overtime funded officers worked county wide on Sunday, December 3, 2017 and <br />Monday, December 4, 2017 that yielded the following: <br /> <br />• 156 traffic stops <br />• 12 people taken to jail <br />• 7 DWI arrests <br />• 9 drivers cited for DAR/DAS <br />• 4 vehicles towed <br /> <br />Notes: SPPD officer with 3 DWI arrests on the Sunday evening shift. Another SPPD <br />officer made 3 warrant arrests from one traffic stop. Freezing rain followed by blowing <br />snow and high winds during the Monday evening shift. <br /> <br />Twenty-three overtime funded officers worked county wide on Thu 12/7, Fri 12/8 and Sat <br />12/9 from 7:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. that yielded the following: <br /> <br />• 283 traffic stops <br />• 21 people taken to jail <br />• 12 DWI arrests <br />• 31 drivers cited for DAR/DAS <br />• 12 vehicles towed <br /> <br />Notes: RCSO deputy arrested a driver for 2nd Degree DWI that tested at .21 AC with <br />her 14 year old son and 7 year old grand-daughter in the car. SPPD officer arrested a <br />driver for Fleeing Police in a confirmed stolen vehicle. WBLPD officer conducted a <br />traffic stop on a vehicle that was stopped for a green light. The driver tested at .22 AC <br />and was booked for 2nd Degree DWI for his third DWI since 2009 and the car was held <br />for forfeiture. SPPD officer arrested a driver for 1st Degree Felony DWI of Controlled <br />Substance along with a felony warrant for drugs. RCSO deputy stopped a car for going <br />73 mph in a 60 mph zone and arrested the driver for a Hennepin County warrant for 2nd <br />Degree Assault with a Firearm. <br /> <br />Fifteen overtime funded officers worked county wide on Sun, 12/10 and Mon, 12/11 <br />from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. that yielded the following: <br /> <br />• 221 traffic stops <br />• 7 people taken to jail <br />• 1 DWI arrest <br />• 22 drivers cited for DAR/DAS <br />• 3 vehicles towed <br /> <br />Notes: SPPD officer stopped a car for speed and the driver was revoked with 24 prior
