6 <br />Notes: MWPD officer made thirteen traffic stops and seven of the drivers stopped were <br />suspended or revoked. <br /> <br />SPPD officer made three DWI arrests during the shift. Another SPPD officer arrested a <br />driver that blew .22 AC on the breath test and the driver was convicted of Criminal <br />Vehicular Operation in 2001. <br /> <br />RCSO deputy arrested a revoked driver for a Felony Domestic Abuse No Contact Order <br />violation driving the victim's car with her as the passenger. Another RCSO deputy <br />arrested a driver that tested at .26 AC after getting stuck between a curb and retaining <br />wall while leaving the Roseville Denny's. <br /> <br />Saint Paul Police hosted the TZD Hi-Viz DWI Saturation on Sat, Jul 28, 2018 from <br />7 p.m. to 3 a.m. <br /> <br />Eight overtime funded officers' efforts yielded the following: <br /> <br />• 87 traffic stops <br />• 11 people taken to jail <br />• 11 DWI arrests <br />• 5 drivers cited for DAR/DAS <br />• 6 vehicles towed <br /> <br />Notes: RCSO deputy arrested a driver for DWI that tested at .17 AC after being stopped <br />driving northbound in the southbound lanes of Snelling Ave. SPPD officer arrested a <br />driver for DWI that tested at .32 AC after being stopped driving head on into oncoming <br />traffic over the center line. Another SPPD officer arrested a driver for DWI and located <br />a felony amount of marijuana while inventorying the vehicle prior to it being towed. Yet <br />another SPPD officer arrested a driver for Felony DWI with 4 prior alcohol related <br />offenses. <br /> <br />On July 2nd, Officer Xiong was dispatched on a vehicle driving all over the road. Officer <br />Xiong observes several traffic violations and stops the vehicle. The 23 year old driver <br />from Minneapolis is found to be showing signs of intoxication. The driver fails field <br />sobriety tests and is arrested for DWI. The driver has a BAC of .19 and is booked for 3rd <br />Degree DWI. <br /> <br />On July 3rd, Officer Pyka arrested 2 parties in separate incidents for 4th degree DWI. One <br />of the parties was suspected of driving after ingesting Methamphetamine and the other <br />for alcohol consumption. <br /> <br />On July 5th around 7:30pm, DWI Officer Kostohryz stopped a vehicle for a lane <br />violations and determined that the driver had a revoked license. The driver also appeared <br />to be under the influence of narcotics and admitted to recent cannabis use. He failed field <br />sobriety tests and also displayed signs of stimulant use. A search warrant was written, <br />urine sample obtained, and the driver was booked at the Ramsey County Jail for 3rd <br />Degree DWI. <br /> <br />
