BIAS CRIME REPORTS <br /> <br />This section will contain any information regarding bias and/or hate crimes in the City of <br />New Brighton. <br /> <br />There were no bias crime reports this month. <br /> <br /> <br />VII. VOLUNTEER SERVICES <br /> <br />This section contains information on our various volunteer organizations related to Public <br />Safety. This includes the activities of the Public Safety Commission, Police Reserves, <br />Police Explorers, and Volunteers in Public Safety (VIPS). <br /> <br />Explorer Liaisons Officers Riedel and Kostohryz accompanied a group of youth to the <br />23rd Annual Duluth Law Enforcement Conference and Competition that was held <br />October 19-20th during MEA school break at the Fond Du Lac Tribal and Community <br />College. <br /> <br />On October 21, Liaison Officer Farmer hosted the monthly meeting of the Police <br />Reserves. <br /> <br />On October 23, Community Engagement Officer Krebsbach hosted the monthly <br />gathering of the VIPS. The group discussed preparations for the upcoming American <br />Red Cross Blood Drive and the Santa Cop season. <br /> <br /> <br />VIII. HOMELAND SECURITY AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT <br /> <br />This section will review ongoing activities for homeland security and emergency <br />management. This includes the activities of the New Brighton Community Emergency <br />Response Teams (CERT). <br /> <br />Nothing to report related to Homeland Security and Emergency Management for this <br />month. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
