Paetznick stated this survey received great results from the public. <br /> <br />Mayor Johnson indicated she could support a timely City matter, such as was done for the body worn cameras, <br />being addressed with the public during National Night Out. <br /> <br />Councilmember Jacobsen requested staff gather contact information for all of the groups the City has strategic <br />partnerships with (Metro Mayors, Metro Cities, etc. ) <br /> <br />Councilmember Allen stated he appreciated the fact the City had pictures of its officers on the website. <br /> <br />Mayor Johnson explained she was proud of the fact there were so many things the City was doing right. She <br />stated she wanted to see the City continue doing these things right while also sending a positive message to the <br />public, especially given the fact the two local papers had been lost. She thanked staff for their work on the <br />strategic plan and discussed how this document would assist staff in providing great management of the City. <br /> <br />Massopust stated he would take this document back to staff in order to a create a document that could better <br />track progress. The Council supported this idea. <br /> <br /> <br />Review TIF Management Plan <br /> <br />Mayor Johnson requested this item be moved to a regular City Council meeting. Davitt explained the TIF <br />Management Plan would be addressed by the Council in March. <br /> <br /> <br />Councilmember Jacobsen requested further information from staff regarding the hiring process for the City <br />Manager. He asked if the meetings at the Community Center would be televised. Massopust reported these <br />meetings were closed in nature and would not have to be televised. <br /> <br />Mayor Johnson discussed the upcoming meetings and noted on February 27th the Council would be meeting to <br />bring the candidate pool from 12 to 4. From this point, the final four candidates would undergo further testing <br />and vetting. She commented on March 18th and March 19th the Council would conduct interviews on the final <br />four candidates. Davitt provided the Council with a detailed schedule for the tours and interviews that would <br />be held on these dates. Massopust noted the Council would also be holding a worksession meeting on March <br />2nd. <br /> <br />Mayor Johnson suggested John Connelly be invited to attend the Community Meet and Greet, along with the <br />Lions and Eagles. <br /> <br />Councilmember Burg recommended representatives from the school district also be invited. She encouraged <br />staff to email all commission members with an invitation as well. <br /> <br />Councilmember Allen asked that all staff liaisons make Commission members aware of the Meet and Greet <br />date and time. <br /> <br />Councilmember Jacobsen suggested Stockyard Days also have members in attendance. <br /> <br />Councilmember Allen discussed the situation at Pike Lake Apartments. He stated Home Line has asked the <br />Council to sign a letter encourage all residents living in this complex not be evicted until the end of May. <br />
