Convert all final documents into an easy to use web - <br />ready format <br />10. Add cross-references where needed/applicable <br />11. Ensure the new codes corresponds to or references the <br />building code to eliminate conflicts <br />■ Chapter 2 of the new code will contain all code <br />provisions on how applications will be reviewed, <br />what information is necessary for an application, <br />and how decisions will be made <br />■ The final step in the code revision process will <br />entail transforming the new paper code into a web - <br />ready . pdf with working links <br />• Cross-references will be added as necessary to <br />make it easy for readers to find related and/or other <br />applicable regulations <br />■ Staff will review the latest building code updates <br />and incorporate changes into the new ordinance as <br />may be necessary <br />MODERNIZING CODE <br />Goal <br />Technique(s) Used to Address the Goal <br />■ Staff will include detailed lists of information <br />required for applications to make the code <br />12. Review application requirements; be detailed on what is <br />defensible against a 60 -day rule claim.
