8. Increase size of sidewalk crossings from east to west of Long Lake Road to 8-feet, to allow for
student stacking.

9. Work with Ramsey County and City to provide concrete bump outs to shorten crossing distance
and provide larger refuge. Work with Xcel to add 14,000 lumen LED lights at crossing locations.

10. Add 14,000 lumen LED light at 14th Avenue and County Road H, and at entrance to parking lot off
25th Street.

11. All entrances to site to include concrete entrance apron and concrete gutter swale.

12. Add signage/striping for main parking lot (i.e. the northern connection is limited to exit only, and
there is a small one way road north of that, what will the south entrance be?).

13. Sidewalk that connected to Poppyseed is shown as removed, work with Public Safety committee
to add additional “no parking” signage as required to alleviate need for sidewalk.

Storm Sewer-Grading

1. All storm sewer utilities within the site are to be considered private and are the responsibility of the
property owners for construction and maintenance.

2. A permit will be required from the Rice Creek Watershed District.

3. Add inlet protection to catch basins on Long Lake Road where dirt may track during construction.

4. Revise storm sewer design as described in note 2 of streets-parking lot.

5. The section of existing storm sewer located to the east of CB 01(Existing) may need to be upsized.
It is currently shown to be 15” RCP (we think this is a text error). The proposed storm sewer
connecting to this structure is shown to be 24” RCP.

6. Riprap shall be installed at FES 1 location. Indicate location and elevation of emergency overflow,
NWL and HWL of pond.

7. All storm sewer and underground storage unit calculations should be forwarded to my attention.

8. Add Elevations to storage building and show how surrounding area will drain.

9. Grades at Mech/Garage are rather steep please define use of building.

10. Main parking lot in south requires additional spot elevations to drain to proposed CB. Drainage
area sent to this catch basin is excessive; please submit capacity calcs as requested in #7 above.

11. Provide drainage and utility easement over storm sewer that connects to Long Lake Road and into
pond. School is still required to maintain all onsite storm sewer pipe and catch basins, as well as
the pond.

12. Revise pond outlet to fit new pond grades and provide skimming of floatables.

13. Review pipe sizes of pond outlet to verify actuals.

14. City may require filtration vs. infiltration based on groundwater susceptibility.
