Ordinance to Establish Temporary Use Regulations <br />Planning Commission Review; 5-19-20 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Page 3 <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff is recommending approval of Ordinance 874 based on the following: <br /> Staff has already received one request for an outdoor seating area, and re-opening of the state will likely spur <br />more such requests. <br /> Businesses are already under significant financial burdens, and requiring them to go through an expensive and <br />lengthy process for outdoor seating will not help then recover in this critical time. <br /> The Department of Community Assets & Development has expertise in-house to review the proposed temporary <br />uses, and identify conditions for temporary approval.
