<br /> <br /> <br />Councilmember Burg stated she was not opposed to having someone come in and talk to the Council about <br />housing. She indicated this was a critical issue and would welcome a discussion about housing options. She <br />explained she had a few housing experts that could speak to the Council. <br /> <br />Councilmember Jacobsen commented he saw the value of having the Council educated on this topic. <br /> <br />Mayor Johnson suggested housing be considered at the upcoming strategic planning retreat. <br /> <br />Councilmember Dunsworth agreed it would be valuable for the Council to learn more about housing. She <br />explained she was interested in learning about the housing community but did not want to raise concerns if <br />there were no issues at this time. She commented this may be a great issue for one of the City’s Commissions <br />to address in further detail. <br /> <br />Councilmember Jacobsen suggested the Council meet for 30 to 60 minutes prior to staff ar riving at the <br />strategic planning retreat to discuss housing. <br /> <br />Mayor Johnson supported this recommendation. <br /> <br /> <br />Worksession adjourned at 6:42 pm <br /> <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Terri Spangrud <br />City Clerk
