5 <br /> <br />On January 21 around 7 pm, officers responded to LA Fitness on a report of 10-15 <br />people fighting in the basketball court area. There were no injuries and the group was <br />dispersing as officers arrived. An employee stated that he witnessed some mutual <br />pushing/shoving but no punches were thrown. <br /> <br />On January 21, officers responded to the New Brighton Community Center on a 45 year <br />old male that was in full arrest in the gym. The party was shocked three times by an <br />AED and regained his pulse and is transported to the hospital. The early signs looked <br />good for recovery for the patient. <br /> <br />On January 23, officers responded to LA Fitness on a 31 year old female down. Upon <br />their arrival, they discovered the woman to be in full arrest. Lifesaving efforts were <br />initiated including the use of an AED that directed the officers to administer two shocks. <br />The female regained her pulse and was transported to the hospital. <br /> <br />On the morning of January 23, New Brighton officers assisted investigators from the <br />Ramsey County Violent Crime Enforcement Team (VCET) along with federal agents <br />from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) with the execution of a search warrant <br />at the Fountain Terrace Apartments. The door to the unit was breached during entry. <br />Two suspects were taken into custody. A large amount of cash (estimated to be in excess <br />of $100K) was seized from the apartment. <br /> <br />On January 25, Officers stood-by at the request of the Irondale Athletics Director as a <br />group of about 30 juveniles dispersed from the building following an earlier disturbance. <br />No additional problems were observed by officers. <br /> <br />
