He was taken into <br />custody by officers while firefighters quickly extinguished the remainder of the fire. <br />Nobody was injured in the incident. The suspect was booked for the outstanding <br />warrants, domestic assault, and arson. <br /> <br />Around 8:30 pm on March 18, officers responded to Silver Lake Road and Innsbruck <br />Drive on report of a driver slumped over in vehicle on roadway. Based on a family <br />member witness who was following in another vehicle, they determined that driver had <br />overdosed on narcotics. Officers had to break a rear window to gain access to the driver <br />who was breathing but unconscious. Officers administered Narcan to the victim and he <br />regained consciousness. Allina transported to victim to the hospital. <br /> <br />Dayshift officers on March 20 responded to the same commercial address in New <br />Brighton to assist other agencies. First, at the request of Saint Paul Police, New Brighton <br />officers stood-by while SPPD officers arrested a male for 1st Degree Criminal Sexual <br />Conduct as he arrived at work in the morning. Later, New Brighton officers checked the <br />same location for a domestic assault suspect who was wanted by Chisago County <br />Sheriff’s Office; that suspect no longer worked at the address. <br /> <br />Around 7:15 pm on March 20, New Brighton officers monitored Ramsey County <br />Sheriff’s Office deputies who were in-pursuit of a motor vehicle that was taken in a <br />carjacking from Saint Paul. New Brighton officers joined the chase as the vehicle <br />traveled westbound on I-694 through the city and discontinued their involvement after the <br />chase left the municipal border. <br /> <br />Shortly before 3 am on March 22, officers responded to the 7th Street NW apartments on <br />a report of two males attempting to cut a catalytic converter off a vehicle. The suspects <br />fled in a silver Honda with a loud exhaust. Around 5 am, the suspects returned and this <br />time officers located them and their vehicle as they were again fleeing the area. The <br />driver had a revoked license status and two active felony warrants for possession of <br />burglary tools. There were also burglary tools in plain-view inside the vehicle. An <br />inventory search of the car found several catalytic converters in the trunk. Both the <br />driver and passenger were arrested and initially charged with possession of burglary <br />tools. <br /> <br />On March 22 around 10 am, an employee reporting for work at Wong’s Kitchen reported <br />that the rear door had been forced open sometime during the overnight hours. The front <br />glass door had also been shattered but no entry was possible through it. Cash was <br />reportedly missing. <br /> <br />On March 22, Officer Craig checked on a vehicle in a church parking lot. The <br />registration showed the owner to have outstanding warrants. The driver initially gave the <br />name of her sister as her license status is canceled she has two misdemeanor traffic <br />warrants. Officers attempted unsuccessfully for nearly an hour to find family placement <br />for the suspect’s two sons that were in the vehicle (ages 10 months and 3 years), but <br />finally opted to submit the case for charging her out-of-custody for gross misdemeanor <br />false information to police. They gave her and her sons a ride home. <br /> <br />
