5 <br />Dayshift officers on Tuesday, April 16, assisted members of the DOC fugitive <br />apprehension unit with arresting a wanted felon in the parking lot of Innsbruck Villa <br />Apartments. Two occupants were arrested at gunpoint. The male arrestee had a parole <br />violation and the female a narcotics warrant. The female had a quarter pound of <br />methamphetamine in her possession at the time of arrest. Both suspects were booked by <br />DOC. <br /> <br />Officer Kostohryz conducted a drug recognition evaluation on a possible impaired <br />motorist at the request of Mounds View officers around 7 pm on Tuesday, April 16. <br /> <br />Cowboy Jack’s reported an intoxicated female who needed to be removed from the <br />premise around 7:45 pm on Wednesday, April 17. She left on foot and was approaching <br />random vehicles. Officers located her stumbling on the Silver Lake Road sidewalk and <br />into oncoming traffic. She was unable to provide basic information and could not care <br />for herself. A transport hold was signed and she was brought to Unity Hospital by Allina <br />paramedics. <br /> <br />On Thursday morning, April 18, a homeowner in the 500 block of 12th Avenue reported <br />that someone entered the residence during the overnight hours and removed two <br />computers and a wallet; a stolen credit card was later used at a gas station in Brooklyn <br />Park. There were no signs of forced entry but a patio door was found unlocked. That <br />night, shortly before 10 pm, officers responded to the 700 block of 10th Avenue NW on a <br />report of a forced-entry, residential burglary that occurred sometime during the past two <br />days. A Mounds View Police canine helped clear the interior of the house but nobody <br />was found inside. No items were reported missing. Evidentiary fingerprints were <br />obtained at the scene. <br /> <br />On Thursday, April 18, PSO Honkanen assisted Mounds View PD by locating a missing <br />three year old child and returning the child to their parents. <br /> <br />On Saturday, April 20, officers responded to a teenage female who had fallen off a <br />skateboard in the 700 block of Redwood Lane and suffered a significant head injury. Her <br />parents were on scene. One officer rode with in the ambulance as Allina paramedics <br />transported the victim to Children’s Hospital. <br /> <br />Officers responded to a physical domestic in-progress at the County Road D apartments <br />around 2:45 am on Sunday, April 21. The 911 call was a woman screaming for help that <br />she was being assaulted. Upon arrival, both the suspect and the victim had lacerations <br />and were bleeding. The victim came home to find the male with another woman. They <br />began fighting, with the male assaulting the female and preventing her from completing a <br />call to 911. Both were evaluated by Allina medics and they declined transport. The male <br />suspect was brought to Regions Hospital for evaluation before booking at the Ramsey <br />County Jail. <br /> <br />Around 3:30 am on Sunday, April 21, officers responded to a silent hold up alarm at 201 <br />5th Street NW. The store clerk stated that three males entered the store, jumped the <br />counter and attempted to take Juul electronic cigarettes. One male threatened the <br />employee with a mop and threw a bucket of water. The suspects fled in a newer silver <br />Ford Taurus. The clerk was not injured.
