08/09/2018 —12/14/2018 University Supervisor for Teacher Certification, Midwestern State University 3410 Taft Blvd, Wichita Falls, Texas 76308 University Supervisor for Teacher Certification Nurtured working relationship with the student teacher and cooperating teacher early in the semester to establish guidelines, expectations, objectives, and goals that will influence the student teacher's success in the classroom. Examined and evaluated the lesson plans of the student teacher. Provided specific, formative support as it related to the summative assessment of student teaching. Helped cooperating teacher understand and improve performance in the role as mentor. Share strategies that encouraged ongoing, open, and honest dialogue between the cooperating teacher and the student teacher. Conducted four observations.
