Madeline Kozulla, 18 years of age from Apple Valley, was booked for identity theft. She <br />was found to have multiple credit cards in her purse in other names. CN 1500936. <br />Paul Lee, 50 years of age from St. Paul, was formally charged with DUI in the 1St Degree, <br />a felony punishable by up to 7 years in prison and/or a $14,000 fine, and Possession of <br />Methamphetamine, also a felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison and/or a <br />$250,000 fine and with Possession of more than 42.5 grams of Marijuana, a felony, <br />punishable by a maximum of 5 years in prison and/or a $10,000 fine. Mr. Lee was <br />arrested in the parking lot of St. John's Catholic Church on February 10th at about 7:10 <br />am. Det. Lochen completed the investigation. CN 15001921. <br />Suspect Dustin Larry Kern, 26 years of age from Little Falls, MN was formally charged <br />with Violation of the Controlled Substance Act in the 5th Degree/Possession of Heroin on <br />February 24th. The maximum penalty for this offense is 5 years in prison and/or a <br />$10,000 fine. Mr. Kern was arrested on November 19th, 2014 for a warrant and was in <br />possession of heroin. Det. Lochen completed the investigation. CN 14014483. <br />On February 26th Irina Koplyova, 32 years of age from Prior Lake, was formally charged <br />with felony Theft in excess of $1,000. The maximum penalty for this offense is 5 years <br />in prison and/or a $10,000 fine. Ms. Koplyova was known to the victims and had access <br />to the victim's home. The victim found numerous items of jewelry missing after finding <br />Mr. Koplyova in the home. It was later determined that several of the stolen jewelry <br />items were pawned at pawn shops in Burnsville, Fridley and Bloomington. Officer <br />McNeely started the initial investigation and Det. DeBoer completed the investigation. <br />CN 14012557. <br />V. We assisted several of our area Veteran's to include hosting training for a small <br />group at the Public Safety Center this week. Ray Tandeski from VIPS partnered with the <br />St. Paul Veteran's Center (located in New Brighton) to host the first of two classes on <br />cooking using our main level kitchen and fire training room. I think they worked on <br />ways to cook tuna!
