Brooklyn Park. Officer Farmer then recognized Mr. Miller from a previous arrest also <br />made by Officer Farmer for DUI on January 30th, 2015. Mr. Miller's driving status was <br />revoked. Officer Wakasugi arrived to assist as did PSO Nelson. In searching the <br />vehicle, two separate baggies were located containing suspected methamphetamine. Mr. <br />Miller was placed under arrest. More than $600 in cash as well as a digital scale <br />commonly used to weigh narcotics was also located. Mr. Miller admitted that the <br />methamphetamine was his and he had purchased it earlier in the day. Mr. Miller was <br />booked on Possession of a Controlled Substance. CN 15003489. <br />On Friday, March 13th Officer Wakasugi made contact with a driver at 1168 Silver Lake <br />Rd (McDonald's). The driver was identified as Anthony wells, 28 years of age and had a <br />warrant for his arrest for Possession of a Controlled Substance. During the arrest, a <br />loaded syringe that contained suspected methamphetamine was located. A rifle was also <br />removed from the trunk of the vehicle during the arrest. Mr. Wells was booked on the <br />warrant and for Possession of a Controlled Substance. CN 15003517. <br />Syringe and preliminary test for methamphetamine <br />On March 14th at about 7:05 pm Officer Farmer was on patrol eastbound on Mississippi <br />Street when he observed a 1999 Cadillac Escalade traveling eastbound in front of his <br />squad. Officer Farmer observed the vehicle drift to the right over the fog line. The <br />vehicle then turned northbound on Silver Lake Rd and again drifted to the right and drove <br />over the center line boundaries for the two northbound lanes. Officer Farmer initiated a <br />traffic stop in the area of Silver Lake Rd at County Rd H and identified the driver as <br />Sherleen Wright, 36 years of age Shoreview. Officer Farmer was able to detect watery, <br />bloodshot eyes and a strong smell of alcoholic beverages from Ms. Wright. There were <br />also multiple children in the vehicle. Officer Farmer conducted field sobriety testing <br />which Ms. Wright failed. She then tested at a .130 preliminary breath test. Ms. Wright <br />was placed under arrest. Ms. Wright agreed to submit to a urine test. Due to the arrest <br />with children in the vehicle, Ms. Wright was booked on the enhanced charges of DUI in <br />the 3rd degree, a gross misdemeanor. CN 15003543. <br />On March 14th at about 10:02 pm Officer Farmer initiated a traffic stop in the area of Old <br />Hwy 8 NW/Hwy 96. The driver was identified as Jeffery Hokanson, 45 years of age. <br />Mr. Hokanson appeared to be under the influence and submitted a preliminary breath test <br />N. <br />
