Cases per Detective — 28.33 <br />Case clearance rate — 95.3 % <br />Suspect Jeffrey Brown, 28 years of age from New Brighton, was formally charged with <br />DUI in the First Degree and DUI in the First Degree — Refusal to Submit to Testing. <br />Both charges are felonies punishable by a maximum of 7 years in prison and/or a $14,000 <br />fine. He was also charged with a Gross Misdemeanor charge of Giving a Peace Officer a <br />False or Fictitious Name. CN 15002858. <br />Suspect Bradley Olson, 24 years of age from Coon Rapids was formally charged with <br />Theft of a Motor Vehicle (punishable by a maximum of 5 years in prison and/or a <br />$10,000 fine) and Fleeing Police in a Motor Vehicle (punishable by a maximum of 3 <br />years in prison and/or a $5,000 fine. Bail was set at $20,000. CN 15002899. <br />Suspect Adam Leigh, 31 years of age from Crystal, was formally charged with Violation <br />of the Controlled Substance Law in the Fifth Degree, a felony, punishable by a maximum <br />of 10 years in prison and/or a $20,000 fine. This incident occurred on August 19th, 2014 <br />when Officer Griffin observed a female doing CPR on a female in the parking lot of <br />McDonald's Restaurant at 1168 Silver Lake Rd. Officer Griffin and several other <br />personnel continued CPR and eventually was revived with "narcan". The female had <br />overdosed on heroin. A male companion, Mr. Leigh, admitted that the two had met in <br />treatment and were heroin addicts. Heroin was located hidden in a sock on Mr. Leigh <br />during a search. Det. Sypniewski completed the investigation. CN 14010416. <br />Ross Michael Harrison, 20 years of age from New Brighton, was formally charged with <br />Violation of the Controlled Substance Act in the Fifth Degree — Possession of <br />Methylphenidate. This is a felony punishable by a maximum sentence of 5 years in <br />prison and/or a $10,000 fine. Mr. Harrison was arrested by Officer Wakasugi on August <br />23rd during a traffic stop. Det.
