driver in possession of 29 baggies of marijuana in his backpack. Maplewood officer cited a driver for Driving after Revocation and No Proof of Insurance and took his passenger into custody for Possession of Meth along with Felony Drug Warrant. On May 19th at about 10 pm Officer Wakasugi responded to the area of 1115 Pecks Woods Drive on a report of a very intoxicated male knocking on doors in the neighborhood. Officers located a male identified as Richard Cloutier, 56 years of age from New Brighton, who thought he was at home. He was extremely intoxicated and a witness did observe Mr. Cloutier drive a 2000 Red Pontiac Grand Am to that location. Mr. Cloutier was arrested and later tested at a .25 alcohol content. Due to the high test, Mr. Cloutier was arrested and booked on the enhanced charges of DUI in the 3rd degree, a gross misdemeanor. CN 15006906. On May 21St at about 2:48 pm Officer Amberg responded to 790 County Rd D on a report of a possibly drunk driver who had left "Big Louie's Bar". The driver reportedly left northbound on Old Hwy and the driver was not located. At about 3:38 pm, Officer Amberg and Officer Olson responded to 906 W Cty Rd D on a report of an impaired driver in the parking lot. By the description of the vehicle it was believed to be the same driver reported leaving Big Louie's. Officer Amberg located the vehicle and driver near 800 W Cty Rd D. The driver, later identified as James Rennaker, 53 years of age from New Brighton, appeared to be slouched over in the front driver's seat. The vehicle was running. The driver was observed driving the vehicle forward and then in reverse for very short distances and then attempting to turn on the ignition even though the vehicle was already running. Officer Amberg was able to approach the vehicle and make contact with Mr. Rennaker who appeared to be very intoxicated. Mr. Rennaker failed field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest. Mr. Rennaker later submitted a breath test with a .28 result. Due to the extremely high test, he was booked for the enhanced charges of DUI in the 3rd degree, a gross misdemeanor. CN 15006990. On May 23rd at about 11:32 pm Officer Farmer was in the area of 800 W Cty Rd D clearing a call of a disturbance. The complainant on the disturbance call wanted his roommate removed from the apartment. The complainant added that the roommate, later identified as Jose Antonio Robles -Ruiz, 26 years of age from New Brighton, had left the unit and was intoxicated and may be driving a Tahoe with out of state plates. Officer Farmer located a Chevy Tahoe driving through the parking lot with Illinois license plates. Officer Farmer stopped the vehicle and made contact with Mr. Robles -Ruiz. Mr. Robles -Ruiz appeared to be under the influence and also had a Bud Light beer can in the cup holder. He failed field sobriety tests and was arrested. He later tested at a.17 reported value. Mr. Robles -Ruiz became uncooperative spitting on Officer Farmer and calling him profanities. He was later found to have one prior DUI conviction in Illinois. He was booked on the enhanced charges of DUI in the 3rd degree, a gross misdemeanor. CN 15007121. On May 27th at about 7:19 pm Officer Farmer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle that failed to yield right of way. The driver, identified as Christopher Dooner, 48 years of age from Lino Lakes, had a revoked driver's license. The passenger, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was identified as William Heier, 35 years of age from Elk River. Mr. Heier was also found to have a warrant for his arrest for failure to pay child support. Mr. Heier was placed under arrest and during a search two small baggies of methamphetamine were located in his possession. Mr. Heier was booked for Possession of Controlled Substance and the warrant.
