Memorial for Banfegha "Blnic" Eyongochu On August 16th at about 10:53 pm Officer Amberg and Officer Craig responded to the area of the 1300 block of Poppyseed Drive on a report of gunshots through a victim's window. Officers arrived and found that a rock had been thrown through a window. The Officers located and stopped a suspicious vehicle in the area and identified two juveniles and one adult male. The vehicles front seat and back seat floors were covered with similar large rocks that had been used to break the window. The juveniles admitted to throwing rocks through windows around New Brighton and Fridley. The juveniles were released to parents and the adult identified as Jeffrey Change, 20 years of age from Mounds View, was booked for felony level Criminal Damage to Property. CN 15011491. On August 17th at about 12:34 a.m. Officer Wakasugi and Officer Craig responded to the area of the 8th Ave SW on a report of suspicious males walking in the business area with flashlights. Officers located the vehicle on I 35W at County Rd J and identified the occupants as Keith Klinke, 33 years of age from Minneapolis and Joshua Haugan, 35 years of age from Columbia Heights. The vehicle contained numerous tools commonly used for burglary and forced entry. Mr. Klinke was found to have a warrant for his arrest for Receiving Stolen Property. Mr. Klinke was arrested for the warrant and both he and Mr. Haugan were arrested for Felony Possession of Burglary Tools. CN 15011493. On August 19th at about 4:15 pm Officers responded to the area of 10 8th Ave NW on a report of a pedestrian struck by a train. The officers found a 43 year old adult male from New Brighton who had been struck by the train. The victim suffered multiple traumatic injuries including an open fractured right leg, multiple flail chest wounds and likely closed head trauma. The victim was transported to HCMC in critical condition. CN 15011586. 3
