Memorial for Banfegha "Blnic" Eyongochu <br />On August 16th at about 10:53 pm Officer Amberg and Officer Craig responded to the <br />area of the 1300 block of Poppyseed Drive on a report of gunshots through a victim's <br />window. Officers arrived and found that a rock had been thrown through a window. The <br />Officers located and stopped a suspicious vehicle in the area and identified two juveniles <br />and one adult male. The vehicles front seat and back seat floors were covered with <br />similar large rocks that had been used to break the window. The juveniles admitted to <br />throwing rocks through windows around New Brighton and Fridley. The juveniles were <br />released to parents and the adult identified as Jeffrey Change, 20 years of age from <br />Mounds View, was booked for felony level Criminal Damage to Property. CN <br />15011491. <br />On August 17th at about 12:34 a.m. Officer Wakasugi and Officer Craig responded to the <br />area of the 8th Ave SW on a report of suspicious males walking in the business area with <br />flashlights. Officers located the vehicle on I 35W at County Rd J and identified the <br />occupants as Keith Klinke, 33 years of age from Minneapolis and Joshua Haugan, 35 <br />years of age from Columbia Heights. The vehicle contained numerous tools commonly <br />used for burglary and forced entry. Mr. Klinke was found to have a warrant for his arrest <br />for Receiving Stolen Property. Mr. Klinke was arrested for the warrant and both he and <br />Mr. Haugan were arrested for Felony Possession of Burglary Tools. CN 15011493. <br />On August 19th at about 4:15 pm Officers responded to the area of 10 8th Ave NW on a <br />report of a pedestrian struck by a train. The officers found a 43 year old adult male from <br />New Brighton who had been struck by the train. The victim suffered multiple traumatic <br />injuries including an open fractured right leg, multiple flail chest wounds and likely <br />closed head trauma. The victim was transported to HCMC in critical condition. CN <br />15011586. <br />3 <br />
