<br /> <br /> Mr. Shokohzadeh discussed how religious disputes are addressed by MDHR. <br /> The progress that has been made in the State of Minnesota regarding civil rights was <br />discussed. <br /> The Commission thanked Mr. Shokohzadeh for his presentation. <br /> <br />I. Call to Order <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:23 p.m. <br /> <br />II. Roll Call <br /> <br />Members Present: Commissioners Carlos Herrera, Jonas Lim, Kami Miller, Jason Steffenhagen, <br />and Ellen Weber. <br /> <br />Members Absent: Chair Lindsay Spooner, Commissioners Kristin Laue, Ruben Vasquez, and <br />Sanja Obradovic. <br /> <br />Also Present: City Manager Devin Massopust, Human Resources Analyst Lisa Carlton, Parks <br />and Recreation Director Jennifer Fink, and Mayor Kari Niedfeldt-Thomas <br /> <br />III. Approval of Agenda <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Lim, seconded by Commissioner Steffenhagen to approve the agenda <br />as presented. <br /> <br />Approved 5-0 <br /> <br />IV. Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Weber, seconded by Commissioner Lim to approve the minutes from <br />the May 19, 2022 meeting. <br /> <br />Approved 5-0 <br /> <br />V. Business Discussion Item <br /> <br />B. Data Sets Update <br /> <br />Massopust reported one of the themes of the ESAP is data oversight and collections and it is <br />central to being successful in equity related initiatives. The Equity Commission will begin <br />discussion on what data the City has, how it can be linked to equity, and what future data sets <br />need to be collected in order to measure progress. He explained this information would be <br />presented by Human Resources Analyst Lisa Carlton and Parks and Recreation Director Jennifer <br />Fink. <br /> <br />Fink discussed the changes that have occurred with the Parks and Recreation software and <br />commented on the data that could now be collected. She reviewed the fun fund donations that <br />were made in 2021 and 2022. Staff commented on the breakdown of members at the Community
