Page 1 of 3 RESOLUTION NO. _____ STATE OF MINNESOTA COUNTY OF RAMSEY CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING A PLANNED RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT AMENDMENT AND FINAL PLAT FOR SILVER OAK ESTATES NO. 2 WHEREAS, the City of New Brighton is a municipal corporation, organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of the New Brighton has adopted a comprehensive plan and corresponding zoning regulations to promote orderly development and utilization of land within the city; and, WHEREAS, in 1973, the City of New Brighton approved a Planned Residential Development resulting in the Silver Oak Estates No. 2 final plat legally described as: Lots 1 and 2, Block 1 SILVER OAK ESTATES No. 2, Ramsey County, Minnesota. AND Lot 19, Block 1, SILVER OAK ESTATES No. 2, Ramsey County, Minnesota. and WHEREAS, current owners of the property encompassing Silver Oak Estates No. 2 (the “Applicants”) made application to the City on 2/16/23 to amend the original Planned Residential Development to shift an originally platted lot line to a new location; and WHEREAS, staff fully reviewed the requests and prepared a report for consideration by the Planning Commission at their meeting on March 21, 2023; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on the Preliminary Plat and variances at their meeting on March 21, 2023, and recommended approval of the requests based on the applicant’s submittals and findings of fact; and WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on the Final Plat at their meeting on ________________________, and considered the recommendations of the Planning Commission, Staff, the Applicant's submissions, the contents of the staff report, and other evidence available to the Council.
