interoffice <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />to: Ben Gozola, Assistant Director of Community Assets and Development <br />from: Craig Schlichtinng, Director of Community Assets and Development <br />subject: Apple Tree Dental <br />date: June 15, 2023 <br /> <br />The Engineering Department has reviewed the site plan for Apple Treet Dental and we offer the following <br />comments: <br /> <br /> <br />Storm Sewer and Drainage <br /> <br />1) A permit will be required from the Rice Creek Watershed District. <br /> <br />2) Provide drainage calculations for City files. <br /> <br />3) Include Drainage patterns and spot elevations for downspouts between buildings. The trash <br />enclosure could prevent or adversely impact northbound drainage patterns. <br /> <br />4) Include stabilized outfall from curb cut to low area on NE corner of site. <br /> <br />5) Include existing spot elevations on adjacent property to define drainage path after reaching overflow <br />(as shown on ALTA). <br /> <br />6) Note spot elevations around proposed building, noting raising grade about floor elevation along the <br />north of this building to properly drain. <br /> <br /> <br />Miscellaneous <br /> <br />1) Confirm Trash Enclosure meets setbacks. <br /> <br />2) Confirm existing water services will meet needs for any required fire flow and work with fire marshal <br />for garage sprinkling requirements. <br /> <br />3) Will garage have a floor drain?
