In addition, he noted he would be attending the dinner for <br />the Ramsey County League of Local Government on Thursday, December 15. He stated 2022 <br />has been a great year and there has been many accomplishments on behalf of the City. He <br />wished everyone a safe and healthy holidays and happy new year. <br /> <br />Mayor Niedfeldt-Thomas <br />Mayor Niedfeldt-Thomas reported City offices would be closed on December 23 and <br />December 26, as well as January 2. She thanked the City’s local legislators for attending a <br />recent Council worksession meeting to discuss the legislative priorities for 2023. She <br />congratulated Mayor Sandy Martin for her 50 years of service to the City of Shoreview. She <br />reported the Equity Commission would be meeting next on Thursday, December 15. She noted <br />the Ralph Reeder food shelf was in need of contributions this time of year and encouraged <br />residents to consider making a donation. She indicated the indoor winter farmer’s market <br />would be held at the Community Center on Wednesday, December 14. She explained a <br />community bonfire would be held on January 27 and a winter gnome hunt would take place <br />until January 2. She encouraged residents to follow the City on Facebook to stay up to date on <br />all of the great work being done by the City of New Brighton.
