The hHandbook will <br />be maintained on the City’s intranet shared drive or other communication medium deemed suitable <br />by the City Manager. The policies in this Handbook are for informational purposes only and do not <br />create a contract of employment. They may be amended, repealed, or modified at any time by the <br />City. <br /> <br />Except as modified by Civil Service Rules or a collective bargaining agreement, your employment <br />with the City is “at will” and may be terminated at any time by either you or the City. <br /> <br />Policy Amendments <br />The City Council will approve all future policies that are not currently addressed in the Eemployee <br />Hhandbook through the adoption of a resolution. <br /> <br />The City Manager will be granted the authority to revise or modify any existing policies in the <br />Eemployee Hhandbook that are deemed necessary due to changes in City operations or <br />modifications to federal or state laws. <br /> <br />The City Manager may from time to time direct the (or designee) to prepare a new or revised policy. <br />These will be reviewed by the Department Directors at the discretion of the City Manager. When a <br />new or revised policy is approved by the City Council or City Manager, or designee, will document <br />the amendment, and it will become part of the Eemployee Hhandbook or Policy Addendum, <br />respectively.
