Modifications will be made to the preliminary layout options based <br />upon the conunents received as a part of the meeting(s). <br /> <br />Task 3 - City Council Work Session <br /> <br />We will present the preliminary layout options to the City Council at a work session to <br />gather additional input and determine a preferred layout option. <br /> <br />Task 4 - Prepare Final Preliminary Layout and Letter Report <br /> <br />Based upon the results of the meetings with City stafl~ Ramsey County staff, the project <br />area developers, and the City Council, a final preliminary layout will be prepared for Old <br />Highway 8. An engineer's estimate of probable construction cost will be prepared for the <br />proposed preliminary layout. A draft design report/memo will be prepared to detail the <br />proposed preliminary layout and the associated estimated costs. <br /> <br />A meeting will be conducted with City staff, Ramsey County staff, and representatives of <br />the project area developers to review the draft report. Changes/additions will be made to <br />the draft report/memo based upon input from the meeting. A final design report/memo <br />will be prepared to present the results of our study. We have assumed that we would <br />provide the City with twelve (12) copies of the final layout and design report/memo. <br /> <br />Task 5 - City Council Approve Preliminary Layout <br /> <br />We will attend a City Council meeting to present the final preliminary layout and the <br />associated design report/memo. <br /> <br />Additional Services <br /> <br />Any services not specifically provided for in the above scope, as well as any changes in <br />the scope the Client requests, will be considered additional services and will be performed <br />at our then current hourly rates. Additional services we can provide include, but are not <br />limited to, the following: <br /> <br />. Geotechnical exploration services <br />. Topographic survey services <br />. Legal description services for any right-of-way/easements required for the proposed <br />roadway improvements <br />. Preparation of final plans and specifications for the roadway improvements <br />. Traffic analysis, signal justification, or final signal design services <br />. Construction phase services for any improvements <br /> <br />3 <br />
