The request would <br />bring the site into compliance with the Compo Plan which calls for the future land use to <br />be community business. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission felt that auto repair service and gas sales were inconsistent <br />with surrounding single family land uses, and recommended approval with a 4.2 vote. The <br />Commission recommended exploring the possibility of placing conditions or covenants on <br />the site which would restrict hours of operation. Staff found that conditions could not be <br />placed on a rezoning of the property.
