Jeanetta will summarize the viewership survey data at <br />an upcoming Council meeting. Benke thanked the commissioners for their commitment. <br /> <br />Motion by Samuelson, seconded by Larson, to ACCEPT THE ANNUAL REPORT <br />FROM THE CABLE ADVISORY COMMISSION AND PROVIDE ANY <br />COMMENTS, ADVICE, OR SUGGESTIONS FOR FUTURE ACTIVITIES. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Police Chief John Kelley said the National Association of Town Watches recognized the <br />New Brighton Police Department for the second consecutive year for efforts in National <br />Night Out Activities. New Brighton was ranked 16th. This award recognizes the <br />extraordinary efforts of the community, Council, staff, and Crime Prevention Unit. <br /> <br />Ron Meanon, Crime Watch Steering Committee, noted the outstanding efforts by <br />Corporals Ed Werneke, Dan Olson, and Officer Bill Sorter of the Crime Prevention <br />Unit. Benke thanked the Crime Watch Captains, staff, and community. <br /> <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Larson, to ACCEPT THE AWARD AS THE 16TH <br />RANKED COMMUNITY OF 30,000 OR LESS POPULATION FOR NATIONAL <br />NIGHT OUT ACTIVITIES FROM THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF TOWN <br />WATCHES, INC. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Consent A~en<;la <br /> <br />Motion by Gunderman, seconded by Williams, to APPROVE THE CONSENT <br />AGENDA ITEMS AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />CONSOLIDATED VOUCHERS: 071368-071545 FOR A GRAND TOTAL <br />OF $903,518.52. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL FOR EXEMPTION FROM LAWFUL <br />GAMBLING LICENSE FOR ST.
