D & T Trucking owner, Robert Dolle, has offered to sell his
250,000 sq. ft. parcel which is the largest parcel remaining in phase two of Brighton
Corporate Park. Its acquisition is consistent with the City's goals of redeveloping this
area.

The proposed terms are: purchase price of $1,232,000; closing on or before
September 15; $40,000 cash payment at execution of purchase agreement; cash
payment of $192,000 at closing; issuance of a $1,000,000 12-year note paid from tax
increment generated from the district; and purchase contingent on the property being
vacant so the City is not responsible for tenant relocation.

Benke asked if potential users have been contacted. Locke acknowledged that a
serious user has not been identified, but is pleased with the agreement which gives the
City time to find a suitable user. Locke noted there is a fair amount of interest in
redevelopment sites in New Brighton. He also mentioned that it is important that a
thorough job be performed in evaluating environmental issues.

Consent Agenda

Public Liquor License
- Champps
Report 95-132

Transfer for
Superfund Project
Report 95-133
Resolution 95-059

FSC Bridge
Report 95-134

Walbon Property Final
Settlement
Report 95-135
Resolution 95-060

Purchase of Squad
Cars
Report 95-136

Council Business

Purchase Agreement
of Dolle Property
Report 95-137
Resolution 95-061
