<br />Page 5 - July 25, 2006 New Brighton Council Minutes <br />1. The traffic patterns and governmental controls of County Road E2 <br />Extension remained unchanged. <br />12. Reconsideration, or total revocation, of the Special Use Permit may be <br />considered due to safety or traffic patterns that are negatively impacted <br />due to one or more of the following future events being triggered: <br /> <br />County Road E2 Extension opens up west across the existing railroad tracks. <br />a. The existing intersection controlled with stop signs at County Road E2 <br />Extension and 5th Avenue NW is signalized. <br />b. The Public Safety Director determines that crash counts are directly <br />related to the drive-thru access location. <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nays, Motion Carried <br /> <br />3. CD Companies (SP2006-011), 500 & 550 Main Street, Special Use Permit <br />to permit two temporary auto sale events per calendar year. <br />Report No. 06-167. Resolution No. 06-068. <br /> <br />The City Planner explained a perpetual Special Use permit was requested for 2 one <br />[y car sales per calendar year. <br /> <br />otion by Council Member Burg seconded by Council Member Bauman to adopt <br />the attached resolution that grants approval subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. The applicant may hold one sale event in the spring and one sale event in the <br />fall per calendar year, <br />2. The date of the vehicle sale events must be submitted and approved by City <br />Staff at least 90 days in advance of the event and must be held on a Saturday <br />or Sunday, <br />3. The sales may only be conducted between the hours of 8:00am and 4:30pm, <br />4. No more than 175 vehicles may be displayed for sale, <br />5. Vehicles for sale must be removed from the property no later than 6:30pm on <br />the day of the sale, <br />6. The Director of Public Safety shall review and approve of each sale event and <br />any traffic safety measure deemed necessary by the Director shall be <br />implemented, and <br />7. If at any time the vehicle sale event creates a Public Safety concern and/or the <br />conditions of this Special Use Permit cannot be met, the City Planner will <br />require reconsideration of the Special Use Permit by notification to the <br />applicant and by holding a public hearing with the Planning Commission. <br />14 Ayes - 0 Nays, Motion Carried <br /> <br /> <br />4.
