Timber Crest Management requircs tenants to provide proof of Personal Liability <br />msurance in its ol"lgmal t(xm for themselves and any listed occupants for any and all vehicles driven on Timber <br />Crest parking areas and driveways. Timber Crest Manal!emellt stronl!ly recommends that residents purchase <br />renters insurance to cover their Hersonal posscssions in their aHartment al!aillst loss of any kind. (As an <br />advisory: Insurance coveral!e for renters can averal!e from $157.00 to $200.00 Her year and l!enerally can <br />be paid monthly, Quarterly, semi-annually or yearly.) <br /> <br />4 Weapons are not allowed to bc openly displayed or canied concealed in the common areas of Timber Crest <br />Apartments tite only exception is an individual who is an active or honorably retired, member of a City, County, <br />State or Federal Law Enforcement agency, an employec or member of a licensed Privatc InvestigatIon Agency or <br />Security Company. 'Ibis weapons prohibition includes, but is not limited to, klllves of any type; includlI1g <br />collector's knives and swords; firearms, non operational firearms, replica firearms including paintball and CO 2 or <br />air guns; explosives; or other weapons. If you have questions regarding what constitutes a weapon, please contact <br />Timber Crest Complex Management or our Security Company Spartan Protection Services at 763-561-1228 or <br />763-561-8499. <br /> <br />DRESS CODE <br /> <br />5 The Management of Timber Crest Apartments has established a common area dress code for <br />Tenant/Resident/Lessee(s) and guests. The items of clothing or dress listed below, although not unlawful to <br />possess or wear in the privacy of your own apartment or home, are, in the interest of the safety, security and <br />the general welfare, as well as to promote peace and tranquility for all residents, or relating to issues of health, <br />modesty or to prevent retaliatory acts or random acts of violence, cause embarrassment or the accidental indecent <br />exposure to tenants, residents, visitors, children, guests and employees of Timber Crest Apartment Complex are <br />banned from being worn in the common areas of the Apartment Complex. <br /> <br />These dress codes are intended to avoid instances where a resident children or guests who by chance may <br />innocently be in or on the common areas of Timber Crest Apartments or traveling to and/or from an apartment, <br />from being subjected to any actions resulting from any persons on the property common area who are wearing <br />clothing or insignia, which are racist, gang identifying clothing or colors or displaying gang hand signs which <br />may result in any person being the subject to a retaliatory act Af!ain this section does not prohibit the possession <br />olor the wearinf!. displav ofin the privacy of your own home. <br /> <br />(a) Baggy Pants: These type of pants/jeans/trousers are a health concern insofar as the cuffs of these style of <br />pants which have a propensity to regularly be in contact with the pavement or a tendency to drag upon the <br />ground, thus allowing the cuffs of the pants contact with and transfer of, hazardous materials, chemicals, dIrt <br />and gern1s into the COmmon area and as such are banned from the common area of the Apartment complex. <br />Roll the bottoms up on the legs while in the Timber Crest Apartments common areas. Af!ain this section <br />does not lJrohibit the possession olor the weariflf!. display onn the privacv of your own home. <br /> <br />(b) Pants/Trousers worn low or bclow the waist line. Are banned from being worn in the common areas of <br />Timber Crest Apartment Complex. All trousers/pants for men and women shall be W0111 in such a manner <br />that the lowest portion of the waist band of said trousers/pants/jeans are above the highest point of the wearers <br />hipbone. This prohibition is due to the existing possibility that the manner in whleh low hangll1g <br />trousers/pants/jeans are worn they could slide off the hIps of the person weal"lng said trousers/pants/Je~ll1s in <br />such a manner causing a modesty issue for others.
