<br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />NEW BRIGHTON PLANNING COMMISSION <br />BOARD OF REVIEW <br /> <br />RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND RECOMMENDINDING APPROVAL . <br />OF VARIANCE APPLICATION VN-2l6. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an application for a variance VN-2l6 has been made <br />by Tom Willmus to allow street yard parking on industrial <br />property.' <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The procedural history of the application is as <br />follows: <br /> <br />1. That an application for a variance, VN-2l6 was filed <br />with the City on August 14, 1980. <br /> <br />2. That the Board of Review heard and reviewed the applic- <br />ation at its regular meeting on August 19, 1980. <br /> <br />3. The written comments and analysis of the city planner <br />and all person's statements made at the Board of Review <br />meeting were considered. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, By the Board of Review that th <br />following Findings of Fact are made in respect to VN-2l6: <br /> <br />1. That the property is zoned 1-2, Heavy Industrial; <br /> <br />2. That the design for the proposal denotes customer pnq: <br />employee !parkiilg.oD tzhe .easfand .west: siciles ot 't:ne <br />building ~ithlarge commercial vehicular parking between <br />the buildings to be screened from surrounding residen- <br />tial properties and the public right-of-way; <br /> <br />3. That the street yard parking is approximately 100'feet <br />from the public right-of-way; <br /> <br />4. That the property County Ditch #2 is situated on the <br />eastern portion of the site prohibiting construction <br />of structures in that area. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Board of Review recommends <br />approval of VN-216 contingent on the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. That the landscaping east of the parking lot be well- <br />maintained to provide screening of the parking from <br />the public right-of-way; and <br /> <br />2.
