<br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />ST A TE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON AND LAW ENFORCEMENT LABOR SERVICES LOCAL NO. 113 <br />REGARDING 2007 HEALTH INSURANCE CONTRACT RE-OPENER. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has a Master Labor Agreement with LELS Local No. 113 (Patrol Officers) for the <br />2006-2007 contract; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the 2006-2007 union contract has a re-opener for 2007 health insurance; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City and the LELS union have reached agreement regarding the City's contribution to <br />health insurance in 2007; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that: <br /> <br />J. Effective January 1,2007, City's contribution for single health coverage will be $470 per month <br />and $660 per month for family coverage. Employees electing to opt-out of health insurance <br />coverage, by providing proof of insurability elsewhere, will be provided $250 per month and may <br />be used for other benefits associated with the cafeteria plan. The City will also contribute 50% of <br />the deductible for employees enrolled in the Health Savings Account (HSA), as well as the start- <br />up and monthly fees associated with the Health Savings Account. <br />2.
