If this occurs, the City <br />will activate the new hauler fee schedule beginning October 1, 1991. <br /> <br />Fridgen said haulers are required to state their volume based fee structure <br />on the license application and notify customers of the structure. The City <br />will publish the rate structures in a future City Newsletter. <br /> <br />The 6,000 recycling bins will be distributed on April 20, 1991. E-Z <br />Recycling has volunteered to deliver the bins to half of the City, and 60 <br />volunteers will be sought to distribute bins to the remaining addresses. <br /> <br />Motion by Gunderman, seconded by Benke, to WAIVE THE READING AND <br />ADOPT THE RESOLUTION TO EXTEND THE PRESENT GARBAGE LICENSE <br />FEE SCHEDULE UNTIL OCTOBER 1, 1991. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Childs said the Occupational, Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) <br />requires that personnel who. in the normal course of their jobs. have <br />likelihood of contracting the Hepatitis B Virus be given the opportunity to <br />be vaccinated. OSHA requires the employer pay for the vaccination. The <br />City's health insurance provider has stated they would not pay for the <br />vaccination. <br /> <br />It has been decided that a large number of Metropolitan cities will jointly <br />administer the vaccination to reduce costs, and the City of Bloomington's <br />Health Department will be responsible for the vaccination. A city's cost <br />per employee is $140.00 and includes the full series. Childs said this is <br />one of many joint/sharing activities are occurring between municipalities. <br /> <br />Consent forms have been executed by 23 New Brighton employees (15 <br />police, 8 firefighters). <br /> <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Williams, to APPROVE AN AGREEMENT <br />WITH THE CITY OF BLOOMINGTON NAMING THEM AS THE ENTITY TO <br />ADMINISTER THE HEPATITIS B VACCINATIONS TO CITY OF NEW <br />BRIGHTON EMPLOYEES AND AUTHORIZE MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER <br />TO EXECUTE SAME. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Mattila presented an application for a special and nonconforming use <br />permits and site plan review for a 3,500 square foot addition onto the <br />Atonement Lutheran Church building. The addition would accommodate a <br />worship center, nursery, kitchen. library, and reception area.
