He requested a comparison of other <br />cities' license fees. <br /> <br />Benke feels being that the number of businesses requesting such a license <br />is limited, lowering the fee would not cause financial implications for the <br />City. Rebelein agreed this type of license is unique and the businesses <br />interested in such a license have a very small seating capacity. <br /> <br />Williams prefers the proposed sliding scale with a maximum of $2.000. <br /> <br />Motion by Williams, seconded by Benke, to WAIVE THE READING AND <br />ADOPT THE RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING ON~SAlE WINE LICENSE FEES. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Margaret Egan, Finance Director. presented the recommended 1991 work <br />agenda for the Financial Policy Advisory Board (FPAB). <br /> <br />Benke said with the recent Governor's budget proposal. it is appropriate to <br />utilize the expertise and guidance of the FPAB. <br /> <br />Motion by Williams, seconded by Benke, to APPROVE THE FINANCIAL <br />POLICY ADVISORY BOARD WORK AGENDA WITH MODIFICATIONS AS <br />APPROPRIATE. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Rick Wriskey, City Forester, presented the consideration of landscape <br />planning services for the Old Highway 8 Greenway Corridor. <br /> <br />Staff solicited proposals from landscape architectural firms for the <br />planning and designing of tree planting, landscaping entrances and other <br />amenities relating to the Old Highway 8 Greenway Corridor concept. <br /> <br />Sanders, Wacker. Wehrman and Bergly presented the low bid proposal <br />which broke the project down into four phases: Concept Plan, Planting <br />Plan, Entrances, and Site Amenities/Streetscape. The total fee estimate <br />would be $16,884. Staff recommends entering into an agreement with <br />the firm for Phases I and II to facilitate the spring planting plan. <br /> <br />The City has reserved Municipal State Aid (MSA) funds for the tree <br />planting along the Old Highway 8 Corridor. Also, MSA funds would pay <br />for the engineering services of Phases I and II. <br /> <br />Kevin locke, Community Development Director, said the Co. Rd.
