The estimated cost of the Pike Lake Trail is $45,000 and
fundi n9 is provi ded under the Par'ks Capi ta 1 Improvement Pl an.

The 17th Avenue NW street repairs consist of the installation of
drain tile, and milling and overlaying on 17th Avenue NW between
14th and 16th Street NW and 17th Street NW and Long Lake Road. In
1980, 17th Avenue NW was reconstructed and now is experiencing
accelerated deterioration from extreme ground water conditions. The existing bituminous
surfaci ng of 17th Avenue between 14th and 16th Street and 17th
Street and Long Lake Road will be milled and overlayed to repair the
distressed areas.

The estimated cost for the 17th Avenue NW repairs is $42,000 and
funding is provided from the Street Department budget. The
residents of 17th Avenue NW were specially assessed for a portion
of the reconstruction cost in 1980 and should not be assessed again
for th is work.

The miscellaneous bituminous work includes a 40 foot by 50 foot hard
court area for Silver Oaks Park and a bituminous pathway between
the parking lot and shelter at Freedom Park. The estimated costs
of these i terns are $8,000 and $3,000 respect i v€: 1 y. Fundi Ilg for
these projects is pr'ovi ded under the Parks Capita 1 Payment Plan.

Council Bus i ness

Approval of Plans & Sper
& Advertisement for Bid.
for Cty Rd.
