The time frame
extension would provide for a planning, design, and financial
approval process.

Staff recommends the following Council actions: give authorization
to staff to begin the architect selection process, continue to use
Task Force and FPAB as advisory bodies for the designing and
financing of the project, continue to utilize staff and task force
co-chairs to manage the process, and further investigate the
feasibility of the Long Lake Regional Park site.

Anderson said the Long Lake Regional Park site is still under
investigation.
