An Golden Pond Open House <br />open house has been schedul ed for Thursday, June 8, 1989. Benke <br />noted that thi s open house confl i cts wi th the annual League of <br />Minnesota Cities meeting. <br /> <br />Williams said the Ramsey County League of Local Governments will be <br />holding a meeting with the subject being the IIRole of Mayor and City <br />Managerll in the New Bri ghton Ci ty Ha 11 on June 21, 1989. The annua 1 <br />RCLLG picnic has been scheduled for July 19, 1989, at Long Lake <br />Regional Park. <br /> <br />Ramsey County League <br />Meeting <br /> <br />Larson noted that an Association of Minnesota Municipalities meeting <br />will be held at the Mendota Heights City Hall on May 31st. AMM Meeting <br /> <br />Brandt said the Ramsey County CharterCommi ss i on has schedul ed a <br />presentation to Mayors and City Managers on May 24, 1989. Ramsey County Charter <br /> <br />Benke announced that the Council of Maplewood has challenged the <br />Councils of Shoreview, Oakdale, North St. Paul, White Bear Lake, and Recycling Contest. <br />New Brighton to participate in a recycling contest. The challenge <br />is to see which Council can save the most recycling material during <br />the month of June. Larson will coordinate this challenge. <br /> <br />The Councilmembers have agreed to participate in the St. Anthony/New <br />Brighton #282 School District Key Communicators monthly meetings. Key Communicators <br /> <br />The New Brighton Developer's Tour will be held on Tuesday, May 30th, <br />t 11 30 Developer's Tour <br />a : a.m. <br /> <br />Childs will contact Board and Commission members regarding a <br />government training course being held on June 22nd at the Brooklyn Government Training <br />Center City Hall. Benke encourages these members to attend this <br />informative meeting. <br />
